The first thing that happens when a stranger points a gun in your face is confusion. You can't believe this is really happening. Then you just hope they take what they want and go away.

I'd like to think I wouldn't let someone abduct me under any circumstances, but if they surprise me with a gun in my face and hit me on the back of head in those few seconds of confusion then I'm probably gone.

You are actually correct, in rape and assault prevention classes for women the police say never allow yourself to be taken to a second location, it is better to risk getting shot, or killed and possibly escape during the abduction because if you are taken to a second location the odds are 99.999% you are going to die.
