The FBI conducts criminal investigations while the CIA conducts intelligence operations.

Not saying we should or shouldn’t be sending the FBI anywhere but the FBI and CIA serve very different purposes. It’s a big reason why they weren’t talking to each other in the lead up to 9/11

Why would the CIA be involved? The reality is why would we investigate this at all.

No, it's their job to do the offing, not investigating offings performed by other countries.

The CIA is mandated to operate outside of American soil, with few exceptions. The FBI is mandated to operate within America, or American held terrotories like Embassies, with few exceptions. They have other differences but this is the main one. Regardless we shouldn’t be interfering in Saudis killing a Saudi citizen in Turkey
