Exactly. 30-A isn't that cheap for a traditional "family beach vacation" but it's not some wealth contest. Half of metro Atlanta has been vacationing there since the early 90s.

Do a ton of strivers go to 30-A? Yes. I mean, Dallas people found it long ago, so it was bound to happen. But does it feel like you're around a bunch of strivers while there? Not really, IMO. Honestly, the Havana bar at the top of the Pearl is really the only place I've found that has much of a douchey quality.
