They typically get stuck on, and are a bitch to get off. Not as bad as collector bolts, but I've definitely resorted to Vise grips a couple of times. That's probably why the book charges that much time

Used the o2 socket and a breaker bar and sprayed pb blaster on them last night.

only if you try to remove them dry, give it a squirt with wd-40 or PB buster and let it soak in for a minute, after that they come out real easy just like a spark plug
