Looks like Trumps team is already starting the narrative for the reason they colluded with Russia during the 2016 campaign

quote:

In a motion to dismiss a new lawsuit accusing President Donald Trump’s campaign team of illegally conspiring with Russian agents to disseminate stolen emails during the election, Trump campaign lawyers have tried out a new defense: free speech.

quote:

only House Democrats have pledged not to use stolen or hacked materials in their campaigns this fall. As I reported last month, their Republican counterparts declined to match that commitment

The credibility of the American news is shot. Probably a 25% chance this is made up and a 75% chance they stretched the truth to extreme ends if it is based in reality.

Accidently upvoted. Meant to downvote

It’s simple.

What proof do you have that Trump and his campaign colluded with Russia to steal the election from the Democrats?

Exploiting hack email is gathering evidence for Clinton's Treason/Sedition Trial.

I think they were just quoting CNN.

See, it's OK for CNN to read the emails and report on them. That's freedom of press, freedom of speech.

But it's bad for anyone else to check those emails.

But the Trump campaign—represented by Jeffrey Baltruzak, Michael A. Carvin, Nikki L. McArthur, and Vivek Suri, all of the law firm Jones Day—responded in a brief filed Tuesday that the campaign can’t be held legally responsible for WikiLeaks’s publication of the DNC emails.

Furthermore, the Trump lawyers argued, the First Amendment protects the campaign’s “right to disclose information—even stolen information—so long as (1) the speaker did not participate in the theft and (2) the information deals with matters of public concern.”
I bolded the important parts.

If it’s in the public domain discussing it iis absolutely free speech. WTF is wrong with you people?

Especially if it shows how crazy and corrupt HRC and company are.
