Hey broski, sacks don't affect my QB Rating. I'd rather take them than risk a throw that could be incomplete. I'll even take a "sack"/run for a loss rather than throw it away. Can't let those incompletions frick up my beautiful career Passer Rating.

Shannon would be the first to jerk off Drew had he ever had a qb as accurate as drew.

I'm assuming you're a young guy. Don't let it get to you bud. Way more important shite to worry about.

They're just trying to get you to talk about their stupid take.

Why do Favre and Rodgers get a pass? They have the same amount of rings and less stats

I don’t normally let those guys get to me, but it has been pretty annoying to hear some of this stuff from the past 24 hours. I do wonder if all these guys actually believe this stuff.

These are all paid scripted employees of the NFL. The appearance of personal opinion by the analysts is all part of the script.

The NFL will maintain an outward appearance of honoring Drew Brees while having their paid hitmen tear him down.

What reason would the NFL have for conducting a heavy handed campaign against a multi-historic record holder?

The answer is simple and can be derived by a simple question: Who stands to benefit from disparaging Drew Brees?

Tom Brady and Peyton Manning benefit legacywise by the anti-Brees campaign.

It is difficult to explain to any logical person that a player like Drew Brees who may one day hold every major passing record, is somehow not top 2 or top 5 or maybe even top 10.

The more sacred records Brees maintains begins to diminish the legacies of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

When Manning was allowed to break Brees' single season passing record on a backward pass, you begin to see the concerted effort to protect legacies.

The NFL has built a money making narrative all around Brady and Manning and will maintain that narrative at all cost.

Unfortunately, because Brees broke the record, it inevitably brought up the where does he rank all-time subject on every show.

Problem is, most talking heads have their subjective opinion that since he is not the tallest or has the strongest arm that wows you with every throw, they downgrade him & disrespect him, even though objectively, he owns practically every passing record that these taller cannon-armed QBs could not set or retain.

The only talking head that gave him props was Chris Carter and he specifically said he wasn’t gonna disrespect Drew with a ranking because it was “his day” to get praise.

It’s a shame that this dude has been doubted & disrespected at the HS level, College level and now, the Pro level, despite the championships and leading stats at every level.

That only makes what he is doing that much more impressive, not less. Those guys are fricking idiots if they are arguing counter to that.

But as far as wowing you with throws, he does that more often than any other QB.

Complete opposite of Ryan Clark's opinion. He essentially said Drew never wows you with his throws since the ball doesn't "leave his hand differently" and that "Drew looks like my accountant."

Then Clark is an idiot. What does "not leaving his hand differently" have to do with throws that wow you?

And what does him looking ordinary have to do with skill? If anything an ordinary looking guy doing things that elite athletes can't makes Brees extraordinary.

I agree with you 100%. I was completely floored by his idiocy. Although I shouldn't be, this is the same Ryan Clark that argued with Stephen A. that Jameis "eat a W" Winston is better than Drew.

Dramatic wins as I mentioned. Didn't you see the collective sports world sucking Rodgers balls when he came in injured and brought them back for a win a few weeks ago?

MJD saying he would take Eli Manning and Big Ben over drew.

Anyone who says this nonsense better have a damn good argument to justify it, I get the argument for Big Ben because he possesses all the tangibles and his career performance has reflected that not as dominant as Drew's of course but Big Ben's a great quarterback no question, could've picked a better QB than Eli to make the point cmon now
