Absolutely. The rest of the NL East is spending money and we are being cheap as frick. Not surprised though.

This is a good deal. Cheap insurance policy. It's basically the going rate for a bench bat. If nothing else falls in place, could have done worse

Also, what do you want them to do? They didn't overspend on Bradley or Cutch. Not much else out there.

Its a cheap 1 year deal with an option. He's coming off a great year. We didn't sign him long term.
There were really only 3 or 4 options for this year - Pollack, Peralta, Markakis 1 or 2 others. We signed 1 of them. Don't hate it depending on what we do elsewhere.
