We were told since we were young that smoking is bad for your health and it causes health problems as you age.

Do you feel bad for people who smoke every single day, even in their bedrooms, in their cars, etc?

Do you typically feel bad for people who continue to make terrible life decisions even after being presented with evidence that their decisions are, in fact, terrible for them?

Yes, most of them know that what they are doing is about the worst thing possible for their health, and would really like to quit, but it is an addiction. For the few that don't care, I feel bad for them having to live their life being stupid.

I actually do feel bad for people who smoke. The choice to start smoking is absolutely their own decision....but the choice to continue is often just beyond their control. It is one hell of a strong addiction.

I was at the court of appeal today, and the chick serving as the clerk in the courtroom during oral argument was smoking hot.

Then during a break she went outside to vape. So let down.

I quit smoking years ago. I've been chewing nicotine gum for almost a decade though. I'm pretty sure that was supposed to be temporary

I don’t get how after all these years, there isn’t a study about social smokers, like people who smoke 1-3 packs a year for special occasions and what not. Everything is so black and white. You’re either a pack plus a day smoker or a true non smoker. Where is the moderation?

Nope. Personal choice is all theirs. What I do feel sorry for is children whose parents smoke around them.
