I think MLB isn't trying hard enough to target the younger fanbase.

They need to offer a channel where all the games are mic'd up. Microphones in the bases, on the rubber, in the bullpen, in the OF etc. No broadcasters

rubber moved back 2 ft - NO, that would dramatically increase offense.
larger bases - 18 sq in increase - NO, WHY?
banned shifts - NO, stop fricking with shite.
radar enabled k-zone - Maybe, absolutely think it should be experimented with. There is a lot to work out I think.
3 batter min for pitchers - Maybe, has to be a corollary that if there is a pinch hitter they can switch pitchers.
no mound visits unless removing pitcher - Yes, I'm a fan.

Radar strike zones probably increases the offense more than anything else tbh

Agreed, they become much more predictable

More than moving the rubber back 2'?

That might not seem like much, but that little bit of extra reaction time could make a huge difference.

I agree that radar strike zones will increase offense as well.

ETA: Combine the two and it's going to be gorilla ball time.

Anyway, Peraza just took his arse deep.

Tyler Beede this spring: 7 innings, 2 hits, 1 run, 2 walks, 8 strikeouts. He's topping out at 97-98 and relying heavily on his fastball. Giants are really excited about the way he looks:

Looks like Kyle Wright may have a legit shot at cracking the opening day lineup. They sent down Gohara and Anderson. Folty doesn't look like he will be ready opening a spot for him.

I think the Giants are trying to figure that out

He's got three pitches -- FB, CB and CU -- all look above average to me.

The Giants broadcast was asking the same question on Thursday night, and with him tossing three innings the booth believes they are grooming him to be a starter.

with that rotation youd hope he can start

Can he keep walk rate down and sustain that velo as a starter?

Bryce with the Fresh Prince theme as his walk-up song

I always enjoyed “bring sally up” walk-up in Washington as well

This is NOT the Anthony Alford that I had seen 2 years running. This Alford is different. This Alford is at minimum a 2nd division regular that flashes a lot more. #AlwaysBetOnTheAthlete #BlueJays

I’ve always heard the first- or second-division regular term thrown out there sporadically through the years

Haven’t noticed the uptick in usage

Maybe just referring to the fact the Blue Jays are well behind their fellow league and division mates?
