We have a lot more tools to utilize now and I think kids today are in general a lot smarter. But we also let those tools corrupt us to a degree as well.

I agree with you to a point.

Yes, they are smarter in the ability to use the endless supply of information at their fingertips.

But most of them couldn't think their way out of a wet paper bag unless they had an ipad or phone in front of them.

unlikely, based on national testing. Usa finishes in the mid 40s in math, after eastern Europe.

Northern Europe and east Asia are the top 10.

USA also ran.
