I'm struggling and this is probably the worst fricking place to vent but I'm doing it anywa

Had a death in the family from a drug problem . I'm dealing with that okay but frick me.
The woman I love is pregnant with my kid and she immediately did a 180 and all of a sudden no longer wants to be with me.
This fricking sucks guys. Everything was great. I had it layed out and a future planned with this girl so I could give this kid the life I never dreamed if having as a kid but she's straight done with me.
I don't understand how someone could straight leave the father so easily. What's it going to be like attending doctors appointments with her, or delivering the baby. It's supposed to be a special moment, and I can't even imagine what it'll be like doing this separated.
I grew up wondering why my parents hated each other and my child is going to do the same. No matter what I say or do she won't give me a second anymore.
I seriously love this girl, and it looks like I'll never have her again. She's only 6 weeks in, and I'm supposed to be taking care of her. Me.
It hurts like a motherfricker . Everyone tells me she'll come around but I don't see it at all.

She’s probably flipping out over the pregnancy and panicked. Need to have a sit down with her and hash it out. Don’t get pissed or anxious, just a calm one on one discussion. Let her know you are going to help her through this. Having a kid is life changing and she’s probably just overwhelmed

Perhaps try focusing on her? Make her feel like she hasn't trapped you into something by getting pregnant?

You still can give the kid a life you never dreamed of. Don’t let a strained relationship with the mother change the type of father you want to be.

Are you positive you are the father? Something is up if two are in a relationship and she does a 180 after getting pregnant. Either she has reason to think you would not be a good father or you are not the dad. If it were me I would go talk to her mom and ask for advice hoping to get on her good side knowing your gf will probably go to her mother for guidance.

First of all, take a breath. I’m guessing she’s a bit freaked out, be patient and supportive, don’t pile on too much too soon, give her some space. Good luck, you seem like a good man and future father, give her time to realize that.

Impossible. She would have never had the time, and the time of pregnancy timing is exactly what we thought it would be.

It sounds harsh, but this is the only way you even have a chance at getting her back. But honestly, if my gf was pulling that kind of shite on me, I wouldn’t want to be with her if she ever came crawling back. Be there for your kid 100% but tell her to kick rocks.
