Have used:
BGE
Royal Oak
B&B
Central Market
HEB
Publix
Cowboy ?
Western
All will work ok. HEB was the worst. Publix burned different from the others.
Currently using Western. Got a 30# bag at Wal-Mart for like $8. Good chunk size. So far, so good. Plan to buy more of it.

Cowboy is shite. Small pieces and a shite load of limestone and other debris in the bag. Will never use cowboy again.

Big Green Egg brand is Royal Oak. I also discovered that the lump charcoal used by my favorite Indian restaurant to fire their tandoor was Royal Oak packaged and distributed under the Gordon Food Service brand.
