Twitter has absolutely had a hand in their “trending” hashtags for at least a couple years now.

I don’t remember what the exact hashtags were but right after the election the #1 was something like #resist and #3 was pertaining to Trump. During the last state of the union #stateoftheunion was #5 and the black caucus or whatever group that was that wore the African garb and refused to clap was bouncing around the top few spots.

Meanwhile every controversy that they can twist into looking bad for Trump easily hits #1. It’s a pretty obvious bias.

ETA - my best advice to anyone over the age of 25-ish: delete all your social media, especially Facebook. Your life will be so much happier and you’ll feel much better about your world
