We screwed the pooch passing on Robertson

We really fricked up not going after this kid. I know the level of competition he faces in Techs division isn’t on the same level as the SEC but there is no denying he’s a star wifh real nose for the ball.

A lot of us wanted him, but numbers didn’t work with the talent the staff evaluated... and he’s good, but it’s not like we missed on offering an elite guy and we’re struggling on defense. Our guys are studs we have in purple and gold

He's a good one for sure. Sometimes you just don't have room and we didn't in his case. He would be 5'11 or better he would probably be on the roster.
Personally when you see talents like him, you just take them and find a spot unless you have another one who's just as good. He would be playing our Nickle and Dime packages right now IMO and Aranda would have that dude all over the place.
I actually think he will cause our first TO of the year in this game. Either by INT or caused fumble. But Aranda and White will shut that shite down.

Did he have the required grades?
Terry Bradshaw went to Tech because his high school grades didn’t meet LSU’s minimum requirements.
Edit: It wasn’t Bradshaw’s grades. He never made the minimum ACT score. I remember he told Jay Leno that on the Tonight Show when Leno asked him why he attended Tech and not LSU. Bradshaw said he took the ACT 3 times and never got the score needed for LSU but it was good enough for Tech.

I think Grades did make him a risk as well.
