They need to embrace a scarier version of the team for fun.

Anthony Davis becomes a Dr. Facilier character (plays off the Voodoo theme and the character is tall and lanky)
Jrue Holiday has a Good Jrue vs. Evil Jrue
Nichola Mirotic becomes the Demon Barber of Lasalle St. (or something like that)
Obviously let there be a Murda Bird transformation occur every now and then.

Just be creative

Maybe this can be done at half time to get it hyped for the thrid quarter every game.

They need a Steve Urkel/Stefon Erkel transformation machine to change him.

Deyyyooo and the clap song are absolutely frickin awful and LAME.

And it’s been how many years with that?! Change it up already my Lord.

The marketing people need to start fresh..don’t start fresh WHEN/IF we lose AD..do it now, earn your frickin money. Be creative and edgy. Take a frickin chance. Quit with all the family crap overload. The players are young, cool twenty & thirty somethings for the most part.

Ask around or google what the “cool” songs are..get a DJ..lower the lights..

Are y’all hiring?

I'll add to the list:

-All Gwen Stefani sound clips
-"Hidey Hidey Hidey Ho"

I'm fine with Gwen Stefani but for all that is holy, PLEASE stop "Hidey Hidey Hidey Ho." It is the most awful sound bite in all of sports

Every soundclip should be NOLA centric, IMO. We have plenty to sample from. Also have rebirth every now and then, dammit!!!

just got back from the Saints/Falcons game. There are obvious difference between attending basketball and football games but the entertainment even outside of the game was amazing.

Ludacris & Jermaine Dupre did a remix to 'Welcome to Atlanta' that included all of the Falcons players which played at the beginning of the game. 2Chainz, Bonecrusher, and Evander Holyfield all attended the game to pump the crowd up. And between plays, there was a live DJ playing pretty solid music. It really felt like if you were not at the game in Atlanta, you were missing out.

Excluding the differences between basketball & football games, New Orleans could easily create a similar atmosphere for the Pelicans with the unique talent in the city. Lil Wayne or Mannie Fresh could create an intro. You could have a live jazz band playing at least on weekend games, etc.

New Orleans is known for throwing a good party. And they need to make it feel like if you're not there, youre missing out on the best party in town.

And for the love god use the music of New Orleans instead of standard arena crap.
