It was a bad loss, but it - combined with the warranted fan backlash that came with it - seems to have really lit a fire under O and the team’s arse since.

Now I’m interested to see how they perform when everyone isn’t “holding their arse to the fire.” The dynamic changes now and everyone will be singing their praises ... can they continue to play with a chip on their shoulder?

This is where I am. It's not the terrible loss, it's how you respond. And Coach O responded great and the program did a 180 after that day. OK, maybe a 170.

I wish it didn't take losing to a Sun Belt team to get the fire lit under the program, but it did light the fire, and they have been a different program since that day. That was their Come to Jesus moment.
