He still needs to work on a bit of touch, but he’s getting the job done impressively. If his accuracy gets even a little better and the o-line keeps clicking, he’s gonna be scary.

he doesn’t do stupid shite with the ball but he also doesn’t have the best arm strength. He can hit some big passes when we need them.
He is the best LSU has had since Mett. Very level headed guy and doesn’t seem to get rattled. A huge get in the off season for both this year and next

I don’t understand the arm strength criticism. Coaches who have observed him in practice said there isn’t that much of a drop off from Brennan to Burrow in terms of arm strength. His balls don’t appear to be slow. They spin just fine.

He's got twice the arm strength as Etling, I'm happy about it. He'll evolve, I remember it took 3/4 a season to get Mett going. Receivers are on a similar learning curve. I like the progress, I want to see more of this past week and less of SELA week.

Needs to get a bit better. Maybe as it goes. The next three games are a perfect opportunity to hone the passing game.

Agreed. I haven’t seen a reason to be concerned with his arm strength. He zipped the ball myo some small spaces

I wouldnt call it a criticism at all. He is/will be a great QB for LSU. Mentally he is the best since Matt Flynn. Just an observation 3 games in is that he has average arm strength in the fact that the ball hangs in the air longer than ideal. It doesn’t come out with the type of zip you see from big arm guys like Mett and Jamarcus Russel but he more than makes up for it with his awareness. Just an objective opinion
