When I graduated from law school, typical starting salaries in the Nola area were 25K for first year associates. Times damned sure have changed.

i remember making about 18k/yr as a computer salesman since nobody wanted a lowly LSU grad at the time

I was about to add. This is one of those things that will be skewed.

They will tell you the good news. Middle Class Income jumps to $61K, the bad news fewer people are considered Middle Class.

When was that? Due to inflation, there may not be that much of a disparity.
