Atlanta mayor removes all ICE detainees from city jails

I guess Atlanta is now a sanctuary city. Hope they are ready for all that comes along with it.

She doesn't even know that Illegal Immigration isn't ICE's only function. They have been instrumental in stopping child sex trafficking. Which, Atlanta is one of the main hubs for. Great job Atlanta.

From what I have read, she didn't put Atlanta as a sanctuary city or stop any ICE operations here. She quit renting out our jail space for ICE detainees. So they will just be shipped elsewhere.
Pretty stupid move considering that ICE paid Atlanta a nice rental fee for that space. This is just a political show move that has no effect other than taking a stream of revenue away from our jails.

Despite Atlanta government being lefty and race-centric, it's par for the course (a lot of show but nothing too bold).
The Kasim line of folks is sensitive to business impact so Atlanta talks a big game but doesn't follow up with it. Hence you have Black Democrats in Atlanta going out to BLM rallies trying to keep them from becoming riots (and they're successful).
I'm not sure how long it'll last, but it's keeping Atlanta from getting too out of hand.

As a middle class tax payer, I had a lot of misery inflicted on me during Obama's reign. I was certainly vulnerable to a lot more misery if I didn't pay. I wonder if this clown would help a brother out of tax jam too.
