Apparently mine is getting prescribed viagra. Yeah, that will make a fun trip to the CVS.

Common in labs, specifically chocolate. Mine had the same.

Wife’s Bichon is snoring next to me. I need another lab.

That sucks. My black lab is 88 lbs and I know it's coming. I love that dog.

Man, my folks started giving some pain meds and glucosamine that they get off of Amazon to their lab. Changed her life. Could barely move for a while, now she can't wait for a good run.

Ask your vet about adequan. It’s by far the best product for arthritis. Simple monthly injection under the skin that you can do at home.

My bud had a brother and sister black lab. The male had hip problems, and had a very hard time running without hurting himself. He got surgery at LSU, and ended up being much faster than the female afterwards

Sorry to hear this. Had a chocolate I had to put down due to nerve issues in his back/hips. Worst part of it was that I had to put him down 6 months after I paid 4K at LSU vet school to have an acl surgery. No regrets though, would spend that 4K again in a heart beat. They are truly mans best friend.

I found these helped a lot when I noticed my dog starting to have hip problems. Getting up from a lying down position and going up and down stairs became much easier for her after she started taking these.

<-- She's almost 13 and still moving along. Of course she runs like Tim Conway and her howl is quite raspy. But her tail still thumps loudly whenever I walk into a room and she tries her best to walk around the farm with me.

She's been doing a lot of riding in the front bucket on the trips back.

She gets 4 of those joints chews a day. I'm not saying the help, but three years ago, she could barely walk and she fell over with almost every other step.

Had to put my chocolate lab down last month.

He was 10 years old and he was having problems with his hips for about 6 months. Pain meds helped a lot. One weekend he just wasn't acting right so we took him to the vet. There was fluid around his heart and what they assumed was cancer. Putting him down was one of the hardest things we ever done.
