i have an American Precision Arms (APA) in .284 with the McMillan Hunter stock that looks almost identical to this. I think if I'm not mistaken it was 80% black, 15% gray, and 5% yellow. I "stole" the color combo off of a tactical forum or message board and thats the only other one I've ever seen, besides this one. and for that matter, this may be the one. best combo pattern on mcmillan that I've ever seen. nice rifles man!

What barrel should I look for? Or is that something the gunsmith will recommends and order?

Do you have a budget for this build? That'd probably be the first thing id do. Not that a barrel is all that much but there are still options.

The bullet weight you plan to shoot will dictate the barrel twist needed. Feel free to email me and I’ll call you on my dime to walk you through the process.

No real budget to be honest. I’ve already got the stock rifle with a Jewel trigger I had put in a while back. It’s a .30 06

I guess I’m just looking at a stock, barrel, and labor?
