Went to Banff National Park this past week. Just wanted to share a few pictures I took. If you like the outdoors, this place is pretty special.

Plain of Six Glaciers

Lake Louise

Moraine Lake

Johnston Canyon

Grassi Lake Trail

Yes it is. I kept telling myself it was the "Canadian" price and cheaper in Freedom Units

No that heat/humidity slapped me in the face when I landed in N.O. It was mid 60s - low 40s over there.

It is. Beautiful trail that circles it goes to a glacier fed creek that empties into it.

Do it. We stayed in Canmore and saved some dough. Rough cost when all was said and done for six days was 3.5k.

Beautiful, thanks for sharing!

Thanks and you're welcome.

When was the photo taken at Moraine Lake, early in the morning? When we went 5 years ago, we quickly stopped by it but there were hoards of people sitting on those rocks. Unless they are behind you

One day we did 10 miles. The condo we rented came with a park pass. I think that is all you need.

How crowded compared to Glacier NP, Yellowstone NP or other US western Np’s ? Not as crowded when we went as US National Parks. I thought it was fascinating that some of the streams flowed north into the Artic Ocean!

Rented a car in Calgary. It's a short Uber ride from airport and prices were a lot cheaper.

Wife booked an Air BnB at Falcon Crest Lodge. Very nice with good view.

Nice pics. Just a quick tip when at all possible clear the tops of most items in shot. Ie the trees in first shot . Gives much better perspective . Jealous for sure it’s on my list
