Mainly in Canada or Mexico. I understand they offer great prices compared to buying in the US. Has anyone used them? And,if so, what was your experience?

I don't think so. Thousands do it. And, I'm not talking about ordering drugs for resale. I simply want to save money on the drugs for which I have a prescription.

I order a lot of stuff on the net, but I can't imagine filling my prescriptions online. Seems way too dangerous. How do you know if it's the real deal?

Its' too easy for online pharmacies, especially those outside the U.S., to shut down and move. At least I have some recourse at a pharmacy store.

I'm going to try one in Canada. I use nexium and there is a generic available in Canada. Cheaper than my copays so worth a shot.

A few years ago Canada and some others were doing no Rx's. They can't now. There are some that you can get about anything you like and a choice of about three basic antibiotics with no Rx.

I know people that get their pet supplies/meds from India.Hard to get scripts can be found but you wait for 15 days from India.

That's what I was after. Someone with actual experience. There are scams out there, but there are very legitimate businesses too. Thanks!

I have also used drugstore.com (The 2nd one listed.) On all of them look for a guarantee, money back and their contact info. I also know someone that used the canadian pharmacy one.MedStore was the fastest they have, overnight I believe.

for people like me it helps. I take nexium and the generic version is available in canada and cheaper than my copays for the regular brand here.

People cross the border to Mexico every year and visit the pharmacys. Like anything else, do your homeowrk. A bottle of Amoxicillin, 500mg, 100 pills runs about $7 a bottle.

Total bull. I know someone who was ordering xanax from Canada without a script. Then one day she gets a letter in the mail when she was expecting another shipment, saying basically, she had two choices 1) come down to the post office and prove that she has a legal right to the contents of the package or 2) do nothing, and we will destroy the package in 30 days.

She picked 2

Maybe you 're missing my point. I've been crossing every year for the last aprox. 16 years. Never had a problem. Will be doing the same thing again in Jan. People do this every day. Some go down to the border just to bring back the medicine needed for 6-8 months. Then return again for another supply. In Mexico most generic brands can be found.

My wifes aunt needed Zocor (Simvastatin), it reduces your cholesterol. In the states she was paying $131/month, in Mexico she gets it for $21/month.

We also found a pill that in the states cost $2/each, in Mexico it was $.60/pill. Before you say anything, the pills were from the same lot (Meaning same date and manufactured stamp).

Like anything else when I say do your homework, know whom you're buying from.

I got a 6-month supply of Simvastatin, generic Zocor, for $19 at Costco last month. That stuff is dirt cheap if you pay out of pocket. I would imagine Walmart or similar pharmacy can't be much different.

This was a # of years back, older people on fixed income played heck with these things.

Many now pick up Z-packs. Can't remember what they are paying. This is why you see a Pharmacy about every third building.
