Stubhub Ticket advice.

Hi folks.
I have recently purchased a Stubhub ticket for the LSU-Alabama game in November. Can I get in using my mobile or do I have to print the ticket? My email confirmation and Stubhub account tell me different things.
I am in the West Upper Chairbacks section. Is this a good section to watch a game?
I have also just discovered that getting a beer at a College Football game is a no go. Is there anyway around this? Or do you just drink more before the game?
Thanks guys. This will be my first College game and looking forward to it.
Go Tigers.

You can get beer in the Chute this fall. So no worries you'll just have to pay a little premium of $20. Stubhub honestly it just depends on how the original seller uploads his tickets.

I bought my tickets to this weekend's game using Stubhub and they delivered my tickets to me. I would call them to make sure.
I have my season tickets in the West Upper's and I enjoy them! You get a good whole view of the field.
They're opening a section on the South end of the stadium concourse for beer sales but other than suites and in the Sky boxes, there isn't anywhere to get beer during the game.
You can probably sneak in rum runners of liquor but IDK about beer.

Thanks.
My Stubhub ticket is already delivered and it says not to print my tickets and to use my mobile. I guess that is the way to go. It is just my email said something different.
I have just read about the chute. It seems better than nothing I guess. I will be at the game on my own and may use it at half time.
Any good bars within walking distance to the stadium? I am using rally bus and I will get there approx 3 hours before the game.

It was too easy to print out fraudulent tickets. So, they are pushing for the cell phone method.

This may be a Jerry World thing - I went to a concert there a few months back and I had to wait in line to get my will call ticket because a bunch of folks showed up with mobile tickets. The stadium may be physical tickets only, but not 100% certain.

Download the stubhub app on your phone if you haven't already. Login with your credentials. Pull up the tickets under "my tickets " and it should pull the ticket up where the bar code is showing and available to be scanned. That's what you'll need pulled up when you get ready to enter the stadium also so have that ready when you do. West upper isn't bad. Upper deck but you're on the LSU side. Enjoy and geaux tigers!!

Yeah I already have the Stubhub app. Under ‘my tickets’ it tells me not to print my tickets and to use my mobile at the venue entrance. On my email it tells to print my ticket.

Frowned upon by who? I hope this is a joke.

If you’re coming from England then for goodness sake spend 8-10 hours before kickoff on campus!! Trust me, tell folks you’re a first timer and you’ll be offered PLENTY to drink and eat by numerous tailgate set ups.

You can use mobile just fine if that’s what the email says.

Then insert into the crotch of your underwear.
Buy a mixer of choice when you walk in.
Bottoms up.

8-10 hours? I would love to but I have to get the rally bus from New Orleans. It plans to get there 3 hours before the kick off whenever that is.
Is tailgating all around the stadium? I will introduce myself if I see some friendly looking people. I don’t want to get beaten up.

I'm not joking at all when I say this shite is an all day affair, especially for Bama. We plan on watching the sun rise with a beer already cracked.
ETA: I'm not saying you'd need to show up for the sunset or even before noon, but if the game starts at 7 and you show up on campus around 4, you're missing out on a ton

]Those aren't the best. I would have sprung for better if I were traveling that far for a game.

Tough luck. We don't take too kindly to your kind since y'all tried that bullshite tea tax on us. Never forget.

I can wholeheartedly assure you that you won’t get beaten up unless you’re a hooligan. I think you will be stunned by how nice and hospitable folks will be when you tell them you are a first timer doing a bucket list trip.
I would find a way to get to campus a lot earlier and soak in the whole atmosphere and experience. There are two restaurants/bars (Chimes and Walkons) if you want to sit inside that are in walking distance to the stadium. Honestly you will be “ adopted” by a bunch of different tailgate groups just by being friendly and asking questions about LSU.
It’s so much more than just the game.
