Feels good to root for the underdog

We have become spoiled. We have had all the talent in the world and not performed- understandably leading to a pissed off fan base. But we are also a miserable bunch of SOBs. When you get a taste of success (2 nattys and a championship game in less than 10 years), you expect it all the time. This season, I have no expectations- face it, that's a f***ked up schedule for anyone to face. I feel like a preSaban fan this year. Take me back to 1997 when it was simply fun to be a fan. We do great, we all will. We do poorly, we possibly get a new regime. Either way, let's stop the fair weather fandom and ride with the team! Support the boys! Let's ride!

Who said irrelevant? We weren't irrelevant in '97. This team has something special on defense, others don't see it... Just saying it's nice to be a true dog. We have been overrated a few years, this year the media has given up and we probably have to our best d since '11. Underdogs tend to shock the world.

To be fair, not everyone that is an lsu fan is miserable. You have a group of kids on here, mixed in with a few middle aged losers, that spew hate 24/7. It is certainly not representative of the overall fanbase.

Oh, it feels so good to go from a top 10 program to a program that experts think will barely become bowl eligible.
