It is always about the Ole Miss era, which is irrelevant today

Are you aware that at Ole Miss Orgeron hired a coordinator that didn't run the USC offense which he has repeatedly said he wants to run and then forced that offense in his OC? Does that sound familiar at all?

We all hope he has learned from his mistakes, but to this point he hasn't shown it yet. So, the Ole Miss record and the way he coached there is extremely relevant IMO.

Petey is O's idol and mentor. He has said this repeatedly and it's understandable. They had tremendous success there at USC together.

The one heartbeat....tell the truth Monday psychobabble stuff, that's all Pete mantras. And after initially saying upon his hire he wanted to run the spread with a dual threat QB O has since consistently said he wants to run a "USC offense".

My issue is I don't see O as the slick Tony Roberts type that Pete is. He's a d-line coach, that's who he is. And he's trying to be Pete. It seems a round hole, square peg thing to me.

Hope I'm wrong. I do think we beat Miami, I think they are terribly overrated.
