Where does the Planet of the Apes franchise rank?

I'd put it above Pirates of the Carribean but below Harry Potter.

Its definitely above Harry Potter. Harry Potter has had only one truly great entry (Prisoner of Azkaban). Planet of the Apes has had at least 4.

I’ll give you Star Wars, but after that, Planet of the Apes is the king franchise. They invented the sci-if franchise.

Considering the Harry Potter movies suck balls in comparison to their novels, I would say planet of the apes is better. The first movie alone is better than the entire HP franchise. POTA has some shitty ones too tho.

Every PotA movie is legit. From the 2001 Tim Burton remake to the crazy arse sequels that came out in the 70's. I personally think the new trilogy, while great, is the low water mark in the franchise.
PotA is far and away better than the Back to the Future franchise.
Harry Potter is closer to Back to the Future, just in my opinion!
