So he had her restrained, she escaped, went ringing doorbells for help, he tracked her down and probably grabbed her and now that the video has been released he whacked himself ? Is that the story ? She’s alive though?

Seriously, that's pretty crazy if that's it.
I just skimmed the story earlier and saw that she was ringing doorbells with shackles on and then running off like she was running from something.
Of course this is monday morning QBing and I don't know the details, but it seems like if she would have stayed at one house, it would have been better for her.. She stays there knocking and ringing doorbell... In the meantime, if he gets to her, it's likely there wouldn't be much time between he getting to her and someone answering the door. And she would have someone to possibly help her out... Unless she didn't want someone to be around when he comes, because she was concerned he would kill them...
