How credible is this guy? Sounds like pure speculation.

i mean almost every player is on the "trade block"

i'd imagine what OAK would demand in return makes it almost impossible

The Raiders aren't even entertaining offers.

quote:

It appears the Oakland Raiders aren’t even entertaining trade proposals for disgruntled outside linebacker Khalil Mack.

According to Albert Breer of MMQB.com, the Raiders are turning down teams – none were specifically identified – calling about Mack’s potential availability via trade.

“Inquiries about Mack’s availability from other NFL outposts have been quickly met with a no,” Breer wrote.

GB does have two firsts. If he is unhappy with the situation there I could see The Raiders going with the Packers as a trade partner.

Packers only have 11 million cap space though so they can't afford his $20 million a year price without some serious salary dumping.

But again, the Raiders have zero interest in trading him, and I mean zero.

If the Raiders paid him they would have around 40% of their cap in 2 players. They need to get something for him now while they can. Of course they wont say this publicly.

Why would you pay any one defensive player $20 Mil a year? When is the last time a team made it to the super bowl doing this? (2016 Von Miller made 11.5 against the cap.)

You need to focus on O in today's NFL. Look at what Nick freking Foles did against one of the best defensive minds of all time in last years superbowl. Look at what 38(?) yr old Brady did vs a top 3 defense in the same game.

I'm not saying they would or should, but if it would come down to it I'd want those firsts from GB.

Well inflation will make that happen sooner than later regardless. Miller makes 19 million a year now.

Donald is asking for ~25 million a year.

True about inflation.

And take note that the Rams have paid both Gurley and Cooks this summer and haven't really moved on Donald talks. I know it's not apples to apples, but it's still interesting.

Uhhh, Fletcher Cox of the Eagles signed a $103 Million contract just a season or two ago.

The Jags have $60m in their DL this upcoming season.
