“4 top 10 teams..yipes”

Just like 2013.

I don’t recall all the excuse making over a hard schedule at that time that we see this year. It’s interesting to me that 10 wins was felt by some people to be underachieving, but 9 wins in 2018 is felt to be acceptable and even very good.

Go figure

5Dimes released its updated Week 1 College Football Lines on Friday and Miami has gone from a 1-point favorite against the Tigers to a 2.5-point underdog.

5dimes had LSU as a 3 point underdog when they put the line out back in May. It hasn't fallen below 2.5 since.

If you plan on siding with LSU, just wait til you get the half point near game time.

Miami is returning so many upper-classmen and a senior QB.

Meanwhile, LSU has arguably gotten worse at every position on the offensive side of the ball compared to last year.

I want LSU to win, but if they botch this Miami game, they are looking at 4 wins AT BEST through the first 9 games. And that's assuming they win AT Florida, which I'm not confident they do.

Now, all of a sudden, here we are 2 weeks away from kickoff and people are pulling the reigns back. Now the positive guys are saying 8 wins, the talent is unproven, the offense is gonna need time.

Not me...11-1 baby! And that loss does not come at the hands of Bama. Bama loses at least two regular season games this year.

Hell yeah, man. I admire your passion and enthusiasm. I really hope you're right. That's how you stick to your guns. Well done.

He’s nowhere near right. It’s comical to read some of the post on this board. Miami at 8 and LSU hovering almost outside the 25 is about where you should be. You have a head coach that has his a$$ on the hot seat, players in trouble all over the place, missing your offensive production from a year ago and a QB that hasn’t taken a single game snap. BUT you really think 11-1 is possible!!! You guys can go ahead and wish it’s free but it’s not going to get you wins. Be prepared to consul each other when you’re 1-2 going into Louisiana Tech game.

We'll see. The team has talent, but I'm gonna have to see it to believe it from the head coach. I was just happy to see the guy sticking to his guns.

I guess we're gonna find out who's full of shite in 2 weeks.

And by the way, I’m not saying Miami is coming in without any concerns. Last year there were times I wanted to jump out of my seat and strangle our QB. But if you’re being honest looking at this without your homer glasses and had to bet your savings on this game who would you take?

Bayou, who do you see that should be ahead of Miami? The only question that can be made is Auburn. So being 8 or 9 but if you’re going to say Miami isn’t a top 10 team to start the season then that’s just you hating.

All accusations of wanting LSU to fail should be directed to Upperdecker, and Upperdecker alone.

Myself, TigerLunatik, Justice, Solo Cam, LSUCajun77, etc. do not associate with this line of thinking.

Thank you for your support.

I just laugh when people assume on this board.
You can tell who the passionate LSU fans are.
We’re critical, we’re blunt and we don’t accept a mediocre program. Because we love LSU and want the best for the players and fans alike.
