If this season is not a success (10-2 or higher), we need something new

I've watched the first two episodes of Alabama's training camp show and they make LSU look like a poorly ran and deteriorating program led by Eddie O and the boys. They have young, polished, and motivating staffing that comes in and out every year without any problems and the players seem to love it. Yet, O wants nothing innovative and rather promote 70 year olds from within the program.
Yesterdays scrimmage was a fricking disaster and all O has to say is, "i thought the QBs threw really well. just a bunch of drops." So that's okay, Ed? Just gonna take a lap and figure it out on Monday after you gorge yourself with shitty gumbo and frog legs on Sunday to celebrate another week of not getting fired? Any other coach would be fricking fuming and trying to hold back from knuckle checking the press after a lazy, piss-poor performance like that from the offense.
From the looks of the short media sessions and scrimmage stats, we look unmotivated and lazy. I really hope that's not the case, so we shall see baws. I would love to see O succeed, but I'm having a hard time trying to buy what he's selling. Sep. 2nd, please hurry.

Stop buying into the scrimmage stats. They’re bogus.
Also, stop comparing us to Bama. We can’t do what they do obviously. All we can focus on is us.. How do you know what the hell is goin on or how unmotivated we look?

The season can not start soon enough

Is this what you're comparing to Alabama's show produce to show the best parts of their program? LSU's media portion of practice?
One is trying to show you the best of the team and the other is trying to show nothing at all.

Less ignorant fans would be a good start.

No, Bama just looks like a motivated group with confidence through the roof and we still look like a team trying to put the pieces back together from 1/9/12.

I'm really thinking that 4 losses this season is pretty legit (worried about the offense and trying to not get my hopes up too high). Sadly we can't afford to pay Miles, Coach O and have the money for a top tier coach. Although I hope Coach O can get this train back on the rails if this next season is a disaster I really don't see us being able to afford to fire him anyway. He has at least 2 more years before his seat gets warm. Either way lets go Tigers!!

Have you been attending practices?

WTH are you talking about? It’s an NCAA all-access inside look into the Alabama camp.
How can you bash the LSU camp without the same access? You sound whiny.

I'm not saying this isn't true, but consider your sources: The Alabama hype train "training camp show" which is probably similar to lesmiles.net
vs
the Baton Rouge media, which is always pretty critical of the LSU product due to the nature of the media cycles needing to report negative stuff to bring in the attention.

Ed is in a tough spot on this one. His seat is hot and he knows that, so he has to put lipstick on the pig. Saban is in a position where he can say negative stuff, even when it's minor problems he is just blowing out of proportion. Ed doesn't have that freedom. And when the problems very well might be actually big, like our O maybe not being up to the SEC level, maybe it's best to sell some fluff.
Or maybe he's telling the truth and Burrow and Brennan were on point and the WRs just had a bunch of drops...

you're right. They're even worse than what's being put out. The 2nd team defense has been getting the upper hand against the #1 offense. Yes 1's vs 1's does happen but so does the 2's vs 1's. But nobody talks about that aspect

What are you referring to? Speak clearly.

Yeah like a new thread and not this stupidity

You have no clue what's actually going on. Like someone said earlier, they have ESPN making it look perfect and like they are going 100 every play..
Why dont you go tell a few players exactly what you just posted here and see how motivated they are..I'm sure theyll fill you in quickly..
Obviously you dont have much experience between the sidelines..
