Where do people that hate Houston live?

Seems like the only people I know live in places like Katy, Cypress, Sugarland, etc and never experience actual Houston.
Living in the loop, great parks are minutes away (Herman, Memorial), MLB, NBA, MLS, NFL, great theatre venues, great museums, great variety in restaurants, etc. why the hate if you’re an actual Houstonian and not a concrete miserable suburbanite?

Actually Houston has more green space than any major city in America.

Houston is green as hell. Parks are everywhere too.

You’re absolutely right

I love Houston moved here from BR and it was definitely a huge upgrade. BR is miserable when you're young. Living in the loop is awesome

Worst weather of all the major US cities.

Inside loop > outside loop - fact.
The heights are pretty tight, we lived there for a while and off Washington before it was developed to the extent it is now. Enjoyed being one block from Memorial park. IMO Houston doesn't have an identity/personality like NYC, Nola, SF, Miami, etc which is why people give it such a hard time. Not a bad place to raise a family but, Nola > HTX, you know, cultcha and all.

Used to live in Spring off of FM 1960. Loved living there, only gripe I had was traffic on 1960

Living inside the loop is pretty fun.

Inside the loop is the best. The people that complain about traffic are the suburbanites.
The people that hate Houston most live in dallas and Nola.
Nola is fun to visit.
I lived in Dallas and I’ll pass.
Haters gonna hate.

Ignorance permeates this board. It is often clearly illustrated through the “your town/city sucks” threads when very few have actually spent much time outside of their own shitty town.

These people don’t hate Houston. It’s Dallas and Nola people who hate houston. Nola people hate houston bc so many good jobs went there.
