Don't forget about Peter Parrish. This kid's the real deal. No doubt JM & LN see the present and future handwriting on the wall. Good Luck to them wherever they end up.

Does not seem to be a factor at Playoff teams like Clemson, Al, and Georgia

Alabama is the gold standard in a lot of college football metrics. This isn’t one of them ie Hurts vs. Tua. Give GA another year. They’ll have a headache with Fromm vs Fields.

Let him go. He is not going to play here this year, with exception of situation plays. I am wondering if he is able to go at 100% on both knees after a long recovery. LSU is in very good shape with Burrow and Brennan and some outstanding QB commits coming in. If they want to be here, be here. If not, move on so the coaches and team can focus on who is here.

It seems like these guys are just getting bad advice these days, whether it's to transfer or leave early for the draft.

He has no QB coach here to develop him, and the main knock against him was that the was raw. I think he has a right to demand more for his development. Even the best QBs in history had to have someone to bring them along. Who is that for him?

He may do great things, but there's not enough evidence either way.

Yep...its only one way to find out, right? Transfer and put himself in a better situation.

Zach Lee - baseball
Gunner Kiel - not a huge miss, but didn’t come here, nonetheless
Steven Rivers - not sure
Russell Shepard - never played QB

I’m sure I’m missing some other names

If he goes the JUCO route he will not sit out one year.

That's the smartest move... head to JUCO for this semester to play ball, choose wherever he wants without any stipulations on signing day 2019, and eligible for the 2019 season

Could LN transfer to JUCO to get playing time and return to LSU next year field tested?

I sure hope LN doesn’t go Juco and back to a school like Auburn...that would suck!?!?

If he thinks he can't cut it at LSU, why would you be afraid of him at Auburn...or anywhere else?

Because other teams dont seem to have a problem getting production out of their QBs and he could end up being a damn good one in a couple years.

He would leave because he constantly hears people (including family) day he should br the starter. He hears how awesome he is and believes it. AND, gets biased, uneducated advice.
Hope he gets his head straight

bullshite. I believe he sees the writing on the wall. Go to JUCO, to gain some experience, and then transfer to the school with the best fit and least competition.

A lot of these guys on this forum think exactly like fans, and not like kids who are looking towards to future. With the freedom the NCAA has started giving to the player's, even if he went to another school, he could still redshirt there and play in four games. And now he can transfer to wherever wants him. He's an unrestricted free agent in a way.

Wish he wouldn't leave, but this is college football now.
