cholesterol is a repsonse to inflamation in the body. Main reason our bodies become inflamed under normal circumstances is due to the omega 6 to 3 ratio. You should strive for balance there or as close as you can.

A skin-on chicken thigh is 7:2 SFA/MUFA : PUFA, so you aren't getting a ton of any sort of PUFA there. But yeah it's about 10:1 6:3 within that.
Have you looked into the O6:3 ratio in free range versus caged and shite-fed?
