Bottom line is, patriots like Donald trump didn't not go to war to not spill blood so that these idiots could have freedom!

If your boss makes you stand for the national anthem before every work day, and you don't, and he fires you, then you were never special and were always replaceable.

The NFL owners have the same option, they just don't really GAF about this issue when the rubber meets the road.

You need to study facism in greater detail as it has more alignment with the Dems, e.g., centralized government, suppression of opposition, etc. than with Trump.

PLEASE READ THIS - If your boss allows you to have free speech at work, which the NFL does, then you can kneel, sit on the bench, turn your back to the flag, or raise your fist during the national anthem. Is it that hard to understand? The NFL has the right to punish these men for protesting however in the last CBA that was not stated.

The NFL or these men are not doing anything wrong or illegal. You need to get over it. Its not a protest of the anthem, its a protest during the anthem. Its a legal, peaceful protest supported by the 1st Amendment (the one before the 2nd) that has nothing to do with Vets. GET OVER IT!

Every last one of them would stand if this were to happen. They would probably stand on a scaffold just to make sure everyone knows they were standing.

Good for him. What does that have to do with the kneeling protests

They aren’t allowing or disallowing free speech. They just aren’t currently punishing them for protesting or requiring them to stand. If an owner decides to implement a policy requiring them to stand, it isn’t a free speech violation.

No one said they were. You keep doing this. You make up something and then treat it as fact that someone said this. But it is the height of stupidity for a business to alienate half of their fan base

You did it again. No one says it’s illegal. And again with the the 1st amendment. How many times does this have to be repeated to you - this is not a 1A issue no matter how many times you say it

These players have no respect for the men who died serving our country. It’s disgusting.

Alton Sterling.

Alton Sterling was ARMED, and had been harassing patrons - that’s why the cops had been called in the 1st place. Reid’s ‘UNARMED in the Back’ spin just isn’t accurate.

Let’s not let the facts get in the way of Liberal Spin

Yeah they do. It's called protecting your income however. Let the owners fire some of these athletic elitists and see their organizations take a downward slide. Doesn't the NFL have a contract with the government to have a patriotic theme to its games? The owners are being blackmailed by their own employees.
