While I may not particularly like that a charter school has decided not to say the pledge of allegiance at the beginning of the day I am glad parents that are not concerned about that have an opportunity to send their kids to different schools.

they will continue to be asked to stand to participate in the school’s Wolf Pack Chant each morning, according to the statement.

Yep, indoctrination at its finest right there...

You would do well to look at the topics ole IB has posted on over the years and see if you can learn something.

Tariffs are the leading problem of the day and Trumpkins don't like talking about them.

Yeah, I fully agree with you for this instance. Tariffs are the leading problem for China and the EU. But not the USA

I am glad families that think like isolate their kids in another school and have the freedom to do that.

You have a myopic view of tariffs. Tariffs have a bigger role than tax revenue. In fact, I'd argue that the objective of tariffs are primarily national security through the economy. In other words preserving and ensuring the resources required for a strong and robust national security and not having to rely on resources through other counties who have the potential to be our enemies.

If we lived in a world were men were angels then laissez faire economics would always apply. But we don't. We live in a world where men, or enough men are evil. But in general as a rule of thumb I'd err on the side of laissez faire economics almost every time. Almost.

I hope that liberals begin to embrace school choice so they see they can these weird schools I am fine with it. All school funding should be through vouchers and we should get completely out of the government school business. Take the public schools private and give every family vouchers to use at the school of their choice and let them keep any saving they get should the voucher be more than the tuition. We would have MUCH better schools then.

You get plenty of earnest responses. You just don't agree with the premises that support their views and they don't agree with the premises that support yours.
