link?

You need a link to know that back counting has not been eliminated? I didn't think it was possible, but my opinion of you as a poster has gotten even lower.

Here's a clue for you

Ok. Wallow in your ignorance along with those scribes. Fine by me. They were all just regurgitating the same misinformation all recruiting cycle.

The Wiltfong article is just plain wrong and the Delly article talks about 3 of the loopholes that were closed, which is true, but teams definitely still have the ability to sign more than 25 as long as they have a) December graduates, b) early entrants, and c) spots remaining from the previous class

Yeah well if that happens then shame on LSU and its staff!!!! The recruiting business is slimy at best but that isn't right. Don't accept their commitment, but to process them before they even step one foot on campus is a bunch of bullshite!!! That is not the right way to do business, and it can lead to big mistakes like Greg Robinson!!

I don’t have a link, but I know this...

If LSU had not signed Burrow and Alexander in the off-season, then we would have spots for 27 in the 2019 class (counting at least 2 early enrollees as backcounters). There was actually a slot for a 3rd signee (up to 28 for 2019), by I just can’t remember who that 3rd transfer was at the moment.

ETA:
Actually, I DO HAVE A LINK for you... and it’s the only one you need.

247 2018 Team Recruiting Class Ranking

1 UGA = 26 signed
2 tOSU = 26 signed
3 Texas = 27 signed

So you think these 3 schools are all just skirting the rules and flaunting it in the NCAA’s collective face?

alumni95 is correct.

You can sign up to 3 over, only if you didnt sign up to 25 in the previous class. Now it is based only on 100 signees every 4 years, but how many LOI's you get on signing day is the important fact.

In the past, it depended on your 85 roster number, and if you cut players in the off season you could over sign to fill them. Now it only matters if you signed under the 25 limit. For instance, if you sign 22 players one year, and do not take on any transfers and are under the 85 total scholly limit, then you can take 28 the next year.

It used to be that you could take 28 every year as long as you did cross the 85 total scholarship limit.

That issue can be confusing, I hope I cleared it up. That said, you keep posting talking out of your arse, and people that know whats going on see right through it. We are not actively recruiting Bush anymore. If you arent sure, just ask and seem curious - its better than just talking like a kid who doesnt know whats going on.

If things went south with Miller, he would be a very nice replacement. Jimmy has him finding his way into the class regardless of Miller or not. Maybe VolTiger13 can shed some light on what he is hearing on this front.

I know we are looking for depth in the defensive backfield but these JUCO guys and grad tranfers expire in 1-2 yrs and leave a whole in the recruiting class 2-3 yrs down the road.

Miller is probably a take due to our circumstances but it would be nice to add a top level virgin player.
