I have read that Dreshun Miller plans to take other visits during the season. Shea has hinted that if there is any recruit to monitor, it is him. He is being recruited as a versatile guy who can play CB, S, and Nickel. On Tigerdetails, Jimmy had Raydarious Jones in his prediction piece.

I know he had a very nice showing at the LSU Elite Camp and is a guy that Raymond put very high on his board. He plays QB at Horn Lake HS in Ms (Same HS as Nakobe Dean) but is expected to play DB at the next level. At 6’2 170, I would think he is a cover corner, but he does have the potential to play safety as well.

If things went south with Miller, he would be a very nice replacement. Jimmy has him finding his way into the class regardless of Miller or not. Maybe VolTiger13 can shed some light on what he is hearing on this front.

Interesting....figured a DB would look elsewhere and if so thought Clark or Chester K. would be a good fit at LSU.
Appears that ILB is another position to look for now. LINK /
That’s a real bummer. The young man had a solid career in front of him.

Cool. Maybe a Dean/Jones push can be made.

We've been working that angle, and if it works out, don't be surprised to see the current class get shaken up a little bit to make room.

Isn’t this class going to need to process some 3* anyway?

Still a lot of targets out there and LSU doesn’t have many scholarships left to give.

If we get everyone we want, I'd expect 2-3 in the current class to be asked to seek other opportunities.

JUCO TE would be on the move imo. However, we would be kinda thin after this season so who knows.

Being thin at TE is the reason he won’t be asked to look elsewhere

Can you elaborate on what that might mean?

3* are told they should consider committing to another school to make room for 5*. this will become increasingly frequent with the 25 hard limit and the eliminating of back counting.

I figured that part, but I was wondering which 3* Vol thinks might be left out.

I'm not sure you need an insider to figure that out, its a simple numbers game.

looking at the current class, I'd imagine Flott is the most at-risk of being processed simply because theres already a lot of DBs in the class and I believe theres a couple of DBs on the wish list LSU is targeting, devin bush for example.

No. 18 Foster Moreau 6-6, 255, SR
No. 82 Thaddeus Moss 6-3, 247, SO
No. 88 JaCory Washington 6-6, 248, SR
No. 42 Aaron Moffitt 6-2, 266, RSFR
No. 34 Zach Sheffer 6-3, 230, FR

that doesnt even account for Pettigrew. if im not mistaken Moreau is the only one who would have exhausted his eligibility so its not like theres a lot of attrition at the position either. could definitely see the JUCO TE being another guy at risk of being processed.

Bush fell down LSU's board. Cant see him getting a commutable offer.

You’re correct... he would get the same offer all recruits receive, which includes on campus room and board. No need for him to commute at all.

(Just messing... clearly auto correct typo)
