How'd the trip go and what places did you like and recommend? Going in December.

Just got back from NYC
We did Madame Vo for Vietnamese. The wings and pho were great.
Sarabeth’s Upper East for brunch. Way overpriced. Would not recommend.
Minetta Tavern. Amazing burger. Dry aged prime beef. Would recommend.
Dominque Ansel bakery. Cronuts were amazing.
Johns and bleecker st. Pizza was great and the line wasn’t too bad.
Buddakan for dinner. Trendy Asian fusion place. Food was pretty good but possibly to hip for me.
And of course, Dim Sum Palace. NYC trip wouldn’t be complete without dim sum at 1am.
Banzarbar was a great bar btw. “Through The Looking Glass” May be one of the best drinks I’ve ever had.

Another option on the UES is Felidia, Lidia Bastianich's first restaurant that she started with her husband in the 80's. Italian.. Over the top delicious.

Chelsea Market doesn't offer much atmosphere, that's true. But the tacos we got were off the wall good. Beer also.

Chelsea Market is great. I like shopping at Dickson's for meat, Spice and Tease, Beyond Sushi.. and Buddakan. It's just the last time I was there, it was way over crowded every time I attempted it. Probably the end of summer vacation crowds.

Manhattan Clam chowder at The Grand Central Station Oyster Bar.
Make sure to do the 2.5 Hour Full Island Circle Line Cruise. Its awesome. Pregame at Rudy's for some cheap drinks and free hot dogs.

I just realized I posted on this post back in August. At least I'm honest...and consistent

So what did you end up doing?
