What’s Matt been up to since he left Head to Head?

Great insight. Realistic breakdown of what Burrow brings to LSU. I agree with Matt, I think Burrow will be fine if he gets the ball to the playmakers around him.

Love seeing that first play. Had a blitz coming at him, pressure didn't bother him, completed a slant pass.

That's one of the reasons he'll be the starter.

To be fair, Brennan was facing an un-blocked blitz, stood in the pocket and hit the hot route.

I thought people on here would be pissed with the Bo Wallace comparison. I thought Bo was actually a pretty good college qb for the most part. Yeah he could fck up big time but he could also light your arse up when he was on.

Saw this a while back but I find it kind of odd that he chose to breakdown a couple underthrown balls. Even with as little tape as there is on Burrow, there are better examples in his mop up duty action and spring game film. Yes, his intermediate stuff seems to be pretty accurate but he also seems to be a much more accurate downfield passer than this clip would indicate. How often are qb’s really effective with such limited chances. Even with such limited reps, when he has been on the field, he has done work. I don’t think he’s a guy that will need a string of games to really get going. I think he will be good and that he will be good right away. Lack of film may aid him for the first few games also.
