Ghost Recon Wildlands

If you’re not playing this game, it’s the best tactical PvP game out there on console.
I took a break after 120+ hours in and I’ve been impressed with some of the changes. The meta before used to be to move together as a unit except you would rush the frick out of enemies, no matter if they had cover or not. They’ve added more features/perks to beef up ways to defend against that such as shallow points, prox mines, and nerfing a few other characters. They’ve done a great job balancing out the characters.
They’ve added more PVE stuff such as a Ghost Mode where if you die, you’re permadead and lose your save. Some other cool stuff in there but I’m not into PVE.
If you can find it on sale it’s worth the buy. If you want tips I can suggest some in here. It helps to play with a few buddies or at the very least play with a mic.
ETA: if you’re a PC player and want to get it for PvP.. don’t.

Already owned it since launch on PC. Was a fun game but repetitive eventually as most open world games get.

The game was fun until they forced stealth on you for a lot of the missions, so much for "do it your way." They shite all over Future Soldier!

Yeah the story mode is meh and definitely gets boring. I played about ten hours of it then spent the next four messing around in a helicopter before I moved on to Ghost Wars.

The game really shines in multiplayer. The campaign is 100 times better with friends instead of the AI.
Ghost wars is phenomenal. It’s like siege on steroids. If your team doesn’t communicate and the other team does you’re fricked 99 times out of 100

It’s a shame the game didn’t launch with Ghost Wars...
If they make a Wildlands 2, they should have low level players play in a separate server. Especially 6 months to a year after the game lunches. Whenever I see a low level player, 90% of the time they try to rush a building by themselves. Or they see an enemy and pursue 150m over to them only to get tag teamed.
You REALLY have to think your actions through and come up with a plan. You can’t CoD rush alone someone and expect results.

I couldn't find a steady tactical group to play ghost wars on PC so I gave up after 100 rounds with randoms. Aside from the asshats that play lone wolf or get pissy if you give orders, it's a great experience.
I don't like how it counts every time you get knocked as a death. Terribly hard to carry a team and maintain positive stats.
That being said I really wish Realm Royale would use the exact same system, because it would work wonderfully with that game.

Is the new update on 7.24 with Rainbow Seige free? Is the new PvP maps/modes free also?

The update is free which includes the maps.

Why are you getting so butt hurt? If you shoot me in the leg and i fall over and then shoot you between the eyes, did we just kill each other? Why is this such a hard concept? want the kill? finish the disabled person.
The only reason it would work for realm is because the " disabled" chicken can still run away, juke, evade and vulturing is pretty rampant. you lose the kill to someone who did 0 dmg to the player.

Very fun game. I’m almost a prestige 2 but I always get low level players on my team which kind of kills the fun sometimes. They still have some game breaking bugs but it’s still fun. Wish more people played

I’ll play with a level 24, they probably have 6-8 hours in the game by now, and they’re rushing strongholds in the map by themselves from the start while the rest of us are scouting the area. I know I wasn’t that bad when I was a low level player.
