I see Florida in your name next to a falcons logo. I've lived in Florida and Georgia, and nobody has ever checked my ID on a debit card. I've lived or work in almost half the States on the country, and that's never happened once for a debit.
Don't lie and look like an idiot. Trump is an out of touch rich guy, who probably hasn't been too a grocery store in decades. He also talks out of his arse a lot. Just let the liberals laugh for a day, then move on. Considering how often he lies, it's pretty insignificant.

If you don't sign the back of your card and you hand it to the cashier, they are required to validate the name against an ID. Debit cards usually don't get handed over.
