With the left moving toward socialism and the Uni-party trying to protect the ruling elite, when will a progressive populist third party arise?

I agree Trump is the result of your average blue collar, hardworking, no nonsense, commonsense, in the majority American wanting to take back the government from the idiots.

Two party system is about number 371 on the list of what makes us great and better than the other countries out there.

This is one of the dumbest things I have ever heard. More parties means both current parties can't not talk about certain issues. There are some huge issues that neither party will ever talk about.
Other parties will bring more options to the table.

This is what I'm talking about! Is this our last gasp at having a government by the people? Do we just enjoy the "strings cut" moment, or do we resign ourselves to business as usual when Trump has served his time, or is forced out?

As long as vote farming is productive for the two big parties, there'll never be a viable third party. That the Libertarian Party couldn't garner more votes than they did in the 2016 election that featured two abominable candidates speaks volumes.
Both the Democrats and Republicans were promising all kinds of shite to get votes. Turns out shite makes a good fertilizer, especially if you're a vote farmer.
