The real reason joe burrow didn’t start at osu

Tom Herman got the credit for osu nc. When he became coach at Texas he and Myers started fighting over recruits in Texas. Tom Herman and uban Myers don’t like each other. Since Herman recruited joe burrow and Myers recruited Haskins and Tate Martell who do you think was odd man out. Myers wanted burrow out of osu in a way he looked good and not like he screwed joe which he did big time. Check the time line of when Herman left and when he went to Texas and when joe playing time went down. My 1st post and i’ve Always rooted for osu just not Myers. You did get a great qb

No one was starting ahead of Jt Barrett, regardless how you feel about him.. he broke Brees’ big ten record.
Haskins got the call in their biggest game when JT went down and Burrow had an injury.. and Haskins took advantage leading them to a comeback. That’s going to give him an edge the following season and Haskins is an elite talent. It happens. Especially when you stock up so much talent.
I can’t imagime a coach purposely not playing a player bc of something like this, but it’s all irrelevant now.

Why was UT not an option for Burrow when transferring?

So why didn't Burrow go to Texas instead of LSU QB depth?

WOW! Interesting story you weave, but a hard one to believe.
Herman was probably the best QB coach that Meyer has had at OSU, and maybe the best OC as well, since he had both the QB room and the offense humming very efficiently, but none of what you said about their relationship is documented anywhere else but in your story.
Burrow got no playing time under Herman, since Herman left for Houston before Burrow arrived as a red shirt freshmen.
One could argue that after Herman left, Beck, the replacement QB coach, did as bad a job at OSU as he
did before at Nebraska, as evidenced by the poor results of the 2015 season and the weird back and forth indecision between Cardale Jones and JT Barrett for half the season.
Burrow, if anything, was merely a victim of bad luck in breaking a bone in his throwing hand in fall camp, and not being given a chance to win the backup roll back before the Michigan game, not some weird plot like you think.
Both Burrow and Haskins and Meyer should do fine this year, no matter what you think.

I don’t personally like Urban, but like Saban, he’s a proven coach.
Proven but not perfect. I hope you’re right that he made a mistake on Joe. I hope Joe tears up the SEC for LSU.
