In all the years I've been fishing the Miss. River, I've never been run off any spot I've fished. I can understand if you're trying to fish on commercial property like refineries and such, but there's so much open batture that I have never found anyone to care enough to say go away.

Oh, and I've been fishing the river since I was a kid with my dad back in the late 50's and still do so at least a couple times a month.

I own quite a bit batture in St. James Parish. Never ran anyone off or heard of other land owners running anyone off. It's kinda forgotten property, and not monitored.
