I would ignore Sampson because he's well known to believe our OL is shite and if that's the case then idk how he can honestly believe we will stomp all over Miami.

Speaking of OLs, I wanted to ask a Canes fan how y'all see your OL and DL because I think that's where these games are won? I know y'all have a damn good offense when hot and secondary is full of talent while also having decent LBers.

LSUs strength should be the front seven this year. Many think the secondary will take a step back this year and while I agree, I don't believe it will be a huge step back. Some spots like SS/FS/Paso/dime might be better this year. I also believe the front seven will cover up some of that weakness as well. Greedy will lock down his side so Aranda will just have to find a way to help his other side while we figure out who's who.

I just don't see Miami running the ball much on us and I also can't see them hitting the deep ball much simply bc of the time yalls qb will have or lack of. Will have to be consistent down the field to score on us IMO. Our ST's play should be improved also.

We have some potentially nasty DLman, like Lawrence, Big Ed, Fehoko, Shelvin (a NT who came in at 6'4 380 and doing back flips but has cut his weight to around 345 to 355) and is honestly quick for that size. I think he could play DE with Big Ed at NT (who is all of 6'3 330 to 340) in some situations. Then we have Ferrell, Thomas, Logan (who weighed like 320 to 330 last year and is now back to 305 to 310). We also have some good freahman that will probably see some time at some point.

Our Mike LB is well known. Devin White, then we have Mike Divinity, Tyler Taylor, Jacob Phillips, Queen, Chassion, Thorton, Anthony (who I really like) and a slew of talented freahman who may see some time. Remember this name Tory Carter on offense. Dudes an animal. Our WR core should be much improved. Our more polished guys are young but we also have guys with huge upside that we hope the light comes on for with Sullivan now here full time.

The potential for this team is def there and you can see why many LSU fans want to believe. I don't think O is near as bad as some make him out to be. He hasn't been terrible here except for the MS and Troy loses. That was before this team had leadership from the players perspective which if you know football, you know it could make all the difference in the world.

Then there's our new OL coach who most are excited about the change he can bring to our pass pro. We have talent and depth there now and if some of our depth guys have improved since spring and we find that solid center then our OL should be pretty strong. There's def talent there as well. Then there's Burrow. We'll see soon who's who and I can't wait for Dallas!!! Good luck bro! Go Tigers!
