Waking up to a win is nice. CFM gonna do it again. Ted may have found something last night, Bregman does Bregman things and Correa is feelin’ sexy.

Britton wears pinstripes now, Eovaldi’s socks have turned red. How does Emperor Luhnow respond?

Saw this stat this morning. Hopefully something similar happens with Tucker at this level and he starts to turn it on going forward.

In Tucker's first 18 AA games, he hit .237/.293/.408. Hit .275/.336/.550 the rest of the way. He hit .253/.337/.361 in his first 20 AAA games, hit .321/.380/.569 the rest of the way.

Wouldn't be worried about Britton in NY, that is going to blow up. Evoldi is a depth move for the Sox he probably won't be on the postseason roster.

The Britton move to me feels more like a move to keep him away from us rather than any need/want for the Yankees. I get it but i wouldn’t ever want Luhnow trading someone away for that type of reasoning.

Tucker has 6 days to show out or else I give Detroit what it takes for castellanos. If he does have a big week then I’m still getting some insurance and making a move for Adam Jones

Are you insinuating to include Tucker in a deal for Castenellos?

Not at all. “What it takes” was an exaggeration but from what I’ve read they aren’t just gonna give him away and hes not a rental. I’d consider Corbin Martin in a package or maybe (and I’d hate to do this) yordan depending on how they feel about Correa. I don’t want to give away the future but the lineup isn’t as strong as last year and wasting this starting 5 would be a travesty

Just like this time last year, Luhnow has pissed me the f*** off.

We are one piece away and he does nothing.

Thanks for 2017, but what the f*ck?

I’m getting downvotes but I’m with you man. There’s still time but man the options are dwindling. I don’t want to give the future away for nothing but at the same time many of these prospects we will be lucky to see them turn into what we’d get in return (ie yordan and castellanos). Could they turn into higher upside? Sure. Or they could be another Jon Singleton or A.J. Reed. Ideally centering a trade around JD davis and a couple other solid but not spectacular pieces would be what is needed.

The only two that are absolutely off the table for me are Whitley and Tucker.

I have a feeling we're gonna continue last night's 10 inning madness into today's game. I think we're gonna destroy Jon Gray tonight.

Doubtful. Morton has been leaking oil lately. Bet the house on the rox.

At this point, I am all for standing pat. There is no reason to make a move just for the sake of making a move, especially since there aren't any big names out there.

Do we really need another Clippard or Liriano?

Yea I mean one of our supposed best hitters has been out in Correa, so get him back and healthy and that should bring another big bat into the lineup. Springer seems to be swinging the bat a bit better, Bregs is having a good year.

The pitching staff is filthy

Other than the Hand/Cimber package, which cost the Indians one of their top prospects, there's nothing that I see the Astros really missing out on.

Machado was never going to happen.

I thought they were going to get Britton but I wasn't high on him anyway.

Eovaldi... whatever.

Maybe Familia, but there are still plenty of RPs available in his class.

It’s been a month since Correa played and he was in a major funk for the 30 Games prior to going on the DL. He’s had multiple setbacks during this DL stint. Betting on him to be there in October is questionable IMO. With that in mind it becomes simple. Do you think the lineup that was out there last night can win a title?

No. Need an insurance bat that can DH. Gattis is in one of his extended funks. Can't take a chance of him having another one in October. Need an insurance bat that can play 1B to spell Gattis as the DH
