Looking for suggestions for a good steak in Denver. Should I just stick with what I know is good and go to Ruth’s Chris?

Capital Grille
Granted this was 10 years ago, I was drunk, it was midnight, and on some salesman’s company card, but I remember it being very good.

Can I ask why you’d want to go to a steakhouse when you’re in a (presumably) new city?
The vast majority of steakhouses are all the same. Why not try something you don’t have at home?

Beau Jo's pizza is definitely something you won't find most places.
It's pizza with a huge sour dough crust you save for dessert with honey. Pretty cool place too.

I’m a big fan of Osteria Marco. It’s downtown on Larimer and the food and cocktails are fantastic.
Although i don’t claim to be an expert on Denver’s dining scene, so others may have better suggestions.

La Loma has some of the best Mexican food I've ever had and everyone I've sent there has had a great experience. Plus you can shoot south on Broadway a bit and be right in the middle of the Green Mile

I, personally, think they're overrated. At least the Fort Collins location, I've never gone to one in Denver.
Capital Grille and La Loma are awesome.
I'll throw in Acorn.

The food scene in that whole state is basically nonexistent. You go there for the beer and the scenery.

I don't know if I'd go that far, but it's definitely not as good as other places I've lived.

This makes up for it.

I've only been to the Idaho springs location, and it was back in the nineties. I just remember thinking it was really good and kind of a cool place that was different.
