If you want veal parmigiana and fancy bread but even then you should go to digiulios (no fancy bread)

If your feeling steak but want something different, try the lamb chops at Ruth’s, one of the few places, even in Nola, still serving Colorado lamb and they’re fantastic.

Nino’s, Houmas House, and Mansurs would be my other suggestions. Soji is a new place that seems pretty adventurous for the BR scene if that’s what your after; good reviews so far.

The fish en pappilote paper at Louisiana Laginappe is the best fish dish in town, maybe the best dish in town period. If I’m not eating steak, this is my go-to.
