Dari joined the Sean Salisbury show on Sportstalk 790 this afternoon, and Sean brought up LSU and how they always seem to be loaded with talent, and Dari stopped him and said, “But are they? Not this year. Maybe in seasons past. I think they are the fifth-best team in the West.”
Dari isn’t wrong, in my opinion. Here is how I believe the SEC West ends up in the final week of November:
1) Alabama
2) Auburn
3) Miss State
4) A&M
5) LSU
6) Arkansas
7) Ole Miss

I would be embarrassed if it ended like that. But we LSU fans are used to embarrassment since 1/9/12. If Jimbo finishes ahead of us in year 1, what a fricking disaster that would be. State and the Aggies have new coaches to contend with. HIstory says LSU handles them both and most likely Auburn and possibly Alabama this year.

Talent is there, but Question Marks at QB, HC, and OC. Add in a very tough schedule- but I think LSU finishes 4th in the West.

Am I missing something about A&M? Their starting QB who lit up the league last year? Their are-inspiring 7-6 season last year? Their new coach's stellar 6-6 campaign last year with arguably more talent in a worse league? The home game they are going to win vs. Clemson? The road games they are going to win at Bama, Auburn and Miss. St.?

Since 2015, LSU’s class rating averages #8 in the country. In that same time span Miami’s average class rating is #16.
